How to Wash My Show Clothes

One question we get all the time is: How do I wash my show clothes-especially a jacket or blouse with lots of crystals and trim?

The answer is actually pretty simple.

We recommend Forever New fabric wash.  It's granular, so it has a little more traction and does a great job of getting out makeup, dirt and stains.

Always hand wash in cold water.  Gently work the garment through the water-don't scrub or wring it-and then rinse it well.

And most importantly, never dry clean your Berry Fit show clothes.  Dry cleaning can cause you to lose crystals, which is why we put a "Hand Wash Only" label inside our garments.

After washing, simply hang it up and let it drip dry.  

Washing also gets rid of that fine arena dust that collects around the crystals.  Once that dust is gone, it really brings the sparkle back to life.

And here's a little show day tip: if you get makeup or a small spot on your outfit and it really doesn't need a full washing yet, a makeup wipe works great for spot cleaning.

So remember: cold water, Forever New, hand wash, drip dry-and no dry cleaning.
